The 0.3 version of the slyft client tool and the slyft server were both released today. This release includes a number of bug fixes as well as command line improvements. These improvements make it much easier for developers to use the slyft service.
With their highly reliable backend, Slyftlets are available for building data structures based on MessagePack, CoAP-enabled APIs for embedded device and CoAP-enabled clients in both Python and Ruby.
Upcoming releases will offer more functionality in terms of client code and MessagePack data structure capabilities, so stay tuned!
Feel free to look at our documentation and tutorials, which show how to build a CoAP-enabled device and control it with a Python Client.
Happy slyfting:Your Slyft Team
