In addition to his extensive practical experience, Benedikt Stockebrand, through his work for IETF and RIPE, has insights into relevant new developments in the area of standardization.
Computer scientist and expert in IT operations, Unix, and TCP/IP networking, Benedikt Stockebrand has now become a member of the ThingForward Advisory Board. Benedikt, who has been focusing on IPv6 deployment since 2003, is the author of "IPv6 in Practice" (2007) and a co-chair of the RIPE IPv6 Working Group. Benedikt also works extensively with microcontrollers. One of the IETF community’s random number generators used for the Cryptech project, was contributed by him.
