Webinar: Rapid IoT prototyping using a case example from the insurance industry (German)

The Internet of Things offers countless new opportunities for many companies. Existing products and services are changing, new products continually appear. As with all technology innovations, it all starts with developing and prototyping new ideas. In combination with lean product development such as design thinking or lean business development, IoT prototypes are particularly relevant.

When it comes to an IoT solution, this includes technical considerations pertaining to the "end device", the "radio technology" or choosing the "right" Cloud. However, the end-to-end application design is equally important as is ensuring the solution can be integrated into existing business processes

Questions which are likely to be answered in this case include: Which devices are used in the solution? How do the devices communicate, using which Interfaces? Where is the transition between sensor technology and business processes within the company? Where and how is the customer involved?

In our 45-minute webinar we will  share the results of a collaborative project with the Technical University Cologne, which resulted in a prototype for an IoT water leakage monitoring system for an insurance company. Using this real-life case study, we will show you step-by-step how the technical solution and all processes can be implemented to develop and verify the digitalized IoT system.  discuss the most important aspects of building secure IoT solutions – from the device level to the backend.

The webinar is free, but participant numbers are limited so please register early.
